ABOUT HIP
Heygood Images Productions, Inc., originally established to function as a multimedia consulting firm, was created in 1987 by our founder and former President, Ralph Wiley. A renowned and well-respected author, journalist, essayist, public speaker, commentator, and screenwriter, Ralph Wiley set up Heygood Images Productions (also known simply as Heygood Images or HIP Inc.) to manage and develop various film, television, and print projects representing a wide spectrum of untapped voices in American black culture.

Born in the Bronx, and raised in the
Washington, DC area, Colen (Cole) Wiley is a 26-year-old writer and filmmaker currently living in Harlem, USA. Coming of age in the midst of the modern American metropolis of the nation’s capital, urban storytelling became an integral part of Cole’s life at an early age.
